Nigeria Solidarity Support Fund is proud to announce the upcoming WeNaija Book Launch, taking place on the 26th of January, 2022.
This event serves as a follow-up to the second edition of the WeNaija Contest, titled “Righting Our Story“. Through this literary contest, Nigerian youths between the ages of 15 and 35 shared their visions for a healthier Nigeria in the form of poetry, non-fiction, short stories, and flash fiction.
The first edition of the WeNaija Contest, titled “Visions of Nigeria“, was a photography contest where Nigerian youths showcased images of how their community was managing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This initiative by the Nigeria Solidarity Support Fund serves as an effort to empower and upskill Nigerian youths, equipping them to better navigate a post-Covid world.
The campaign serves to explore the creativity and insights of the youths as a means for advocacy in transforming health outcomes in Nigeria. As a non-profit, all funds raised from this campaign will go towards providing opportunities for youths to lead a more meaningful life and contribute to the betterment of society.
